hello! i'm here today with a review of the seifuku i ordered off of ebay from the seller cn2014.wenb. i ordered the navy uniform in XL, now normally i'm just an L in american sizes but because i'm very busty and have wide hips i wasn't sure if L would be just enough. asian sizing is notorious for being on the small size so i sized up with fingers crossed!
it was only $10.99 with free shipping, and the shipping took about 3 weeks to get to me in california. that is pretty standard i'd say. it was packaged well (sorry i didn't take a picture of it!) and nothing was damaged.
so the uniform comes with the top, the skirt, and a detachable bow. from first looks i could tell it was of cheap quality... which i expected, beause $10.99 is incredibly cheap for a seifuku!!
the shirt is really thin and not as baggy as it looked on the model. well, of course it isn't because the model is very thin haha. i'm sure on a smaller person it would be baggy too, or at least a relaxed fit, but on my busty frame it clings to every curve. it looks bad when i don't wear a bra but it looks even worse with a bra! big boob struggles :(
the skirt is also a little see through, but only from a certain lighting. it is pretty short and for me, a little tight. the zipper is made VERY cheaply and you have to be careful with it, because mine snagged and now i think it's a little fucked up so i can't zip up all the way. :(
i like the detachable bow! it's cute and i don't have to use it for just this outfit.
so what are my overall ratings on this purchase today?
shipping 5/5
quality 3.5/5
price 5/5
generally i think you get what you pay for. in this case, it was true! the material is just okay, and it does look cute on. if you don't want to break the bank but still want a seifuku, i think this purchase is a good one. size up!!! if you're larger than me though, especially if you have a big booty or a big bust, it might not fit. i would say be careful and keep your measurements in mind. i am pretty happy with my purchase, but i do wish it fit better - but it's not really the clothing's fault lol. i just need to lose a bit of weight!!

Fot that price, I think it looks good, but it looks nothing like a school uniform should look, does it xD Waaayyyy too tight and short. But it's cute on you nontheless and again, can't complain for that price. I got a seifuku once, too. Mine was costum made (had to give them sooo many of my measurements, lol) and was kinda pricy (about 90$), but that's okay, because it looks and fits the way school uniforms are supposed to, yet is kinda cute. The one you got here is just fine for taking pictures, though, right? ♥

yeah it's pretty clearly just a cheaply made costume, sorta one step above party city level haha. but you're right, it is still cute for pictures. i'm interested in custom sizing as well but this costume serves as sort of a reminder for me to keep eating healthy and exercising ~ thanks for commenting
