☆ daiso + mitsuwa + misc. kawaii haul ☆

hello to anyone reading this~! it's been a while since i last posted but here i am again. i decided i want to start this old thing up again. mainly for beauty posts, but also for whatever else i want to put up on this little space of mine too. if that interest you, then please follow me! c: anywho, onto the post...

so here's my FOTD! tried to keep my look mainly more natural today. i took inspiration from lots of j-idols- a clean youthful, fresh look. ^_^

products i'm wearing:
URBAN DECAY naked foundation
MAYBELLINE falsies mascara
KLEANCOLOR tangerine blush
ESSENCE liquid eyeliner
MAYBELLINE pink pop lipstick (mixed in with LUSH santa baby lip tint)

now today i decided i wanted to go to daiso. that was my main quest! but i also went to mitsuwa, a japanese supermarket, and a random $1/$2/$3 fashion store as well. here are my goodies!

so at mitsuwa my aunt bought some mitarashi dango to try! it was pretty cheap and it was our first time trying it. it was really good! they are riceballs covered in some sort of really sweet yet salty glaze. it reminds me of teriyaki sauce.

i'm really glad i tried it out! i've always wanted to try out more japanese foods. @_@ i especially want to try the streetfoods in japan. they look so amazing, i just drool thinking about it.

i spotted these two new pocky flavors in mitsuwa. i'm sure they're not new in japan, since japan has a million flavors. but they're new to me! i haven't tried them yet. i'm sure cookies n cream will be awesome. not sure about the chocolate banana though, haha. artificial banana always tends to taste funny!

i spotted some onigiri's (or rice balls, in english) in the ready-to-eat food section. they had a few other flavors, like tuna and shrimp i believe, but these two caught my eye, especially the soured plum! i actually had these two for dinner a few hours ago. the soured plum was SO GOOD! seriously, amazing. i could eat like 20 of those in one sitting. the okaka bonito flake was just ok. i don't think i would buy it again. the plum though... i hope i can go back for more. especially for $1.50, that's not a bad price at all. ^_^

so that's all i got at mitsuwa...

at daiso i got a really random assortment of stuff. my two beauty products (gasp, how did i manage to escape with just two, right?) were an eyebrow pencil and my favorite pair of lashes! the eyebrow pencil is just a random one in dark brown to match my eyebrows with a spoolie at the end. it's good for on the go, but not amazing.

and a close up of the #11 eyelashes!! i love them so much. daiso has a lot of amazing eyelashes, but this one stands out among them because of the thick long lashes and the criss cross tiny lashes in between. it's great for a cosplay look or just a really striking look if that's what you want. i'm going to stock up before i move to oklahoma in june. ^_^

these are some super adorable fuzzy ball hair ties!! these will be so cute for when i put up my hair in pigtails. i just love that fuzzy fur look for some reason. it's got some very 90s/cher from clueless vibes, right? i couldn't find a matching white pair as they ran out, but i'm going to look for another pair to match it hopefully. i wish they made them in pink or red!

and so there the random crap begins. i got a strawberry ice cream calculator because i hate math and i love ice cream... so of course that makes sense that i had to get it right? then right next to it is a small floral heart shaped box container (i actually have a matching big one) and i was looking for a smaller size in the same pattern. it's really good for storing accessories like rings, earrings, or even random makeup items! last in the picture are some animal erasers. they're pretty cute, but not for me. they're for my niece. :)

i love writing letters, but i don't write them or send them a lot because i just don't have the material for them. also i'm really lazy. but i saw these in the stationary section and couldn't help myself~! magical girls and strawberries? yes please! i hope with these in my inventory i can start writing letters and sending them more to loved ones. ^_^

you're probably wondering wtf these are. they're really adorable and decorations mostly. they claim to be deodorizers but tbh i don't think they smell very strong. at first they kind of do, for like a day, but then it fades. but it's okay because they're so cute on your toilet or wall or whatever! the rabbit is for me, but the duck and frog are going to my sister in law. :3

i got these chopsticks as gifts to my brother, his wife, and their baby. i thought the traditional art looked really cool and fancy, so they would appreciate it, especially since he is a sushi chef. for their baby, i just thought the chopsticks were sooo cute! plus, they will help her learn how to use chopsticks properly :)

so, that's all i got at daiso (for now...hehe.)

my last item that i got today, was this ADORABLE cherry bag!! when my aunt and i left daiso, i spotted a store that was named "$1,$2,$3 clothes" or something like that. we went in out of curiosity. could anything in there be cute? there were some interesting things in there but for the most part, you get what you pay for, and a lot of it wasn't my style. however i saw this bag out of the corner of my eye and was in love immediately. i have an obsession with all things fruit. especially cherries and strawberries so i had to have it. my auntie got it for me and it was such a good deal, only $1.99 haha. it's really sturdy and has room for a good amount of stuff in it too. im REALLY happy with it!

so, that's all for this little haul today. i don't plan on shopping too much this month, because i'm moving states. but once i get things settled down, i hope to be doing steady reviews and such. i hope you can follow me as my blog grows! thanks for reading!
